Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more accurate manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
