To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty reefer containers and empty ISO standard containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment can expand. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet must have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights inside the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, hydraulic slewing and 2 work lights.
The ELME attachment is engineered to handle 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers simultaneously. This simultaneous ability could be done with the containers stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, this type of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the upper containers bottom corner castings and the lower container's top corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be carried out.
Drive Train
Each Taylor model container forklift has a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. A few of the standard engine features include engine/transmission protection, electronic maintenance and diagnostic monitor, water/fuel separator, improved fuel economy and reduced overall emissions. Furthermore, the transmission available utilized for all 3 models is a non-modulated, power-shift, 3-speed, fully reversing transmission.
