Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used in order to move supplies and things around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight includes a pump that could raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single person.
To avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle could smoothly turn. The pallet should be carefully stacked to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
To be able to lower the forks and release air in the pump, squeeze the lever situated on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to be able to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is truly not safe to push the pallet in front of you as the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop abruptly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
