FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in 1920. This family run company, FMgru, is located within the largest industrial location within northern Italy. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different types of presses, forklifts, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
The business began crane production in 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and manufactures 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for a variety of uses and there are models available to cover all construction requirements.
FMgru has several really flexible lifting options for smaller businesses working on private homes and other smaller buildings. Self-erecting cranes provide 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other models include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are standard tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are great for any building or construction project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These kinds of cranes are specially designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are found in close proximity to each other.
